Luke Taylor Till We Have Face 1: The Return of Sir LukieTee

After an astonishing story of true terror and horror, a hero returns. If you can recall, Sir LukieTee, the King of Charn’s number one man, surrendered his life in order to save the life of his beloved king. You know how the rest of that story goes. Charn, a once beautiful place full of life, was destroyed and innocent lives were cursed into dark figures of stone. The evildoer of dark magic backfired herself into the doom of a stone figure with that of her victims. What you do not know is what happened to the soul of the one man who gave his life to save the future of Charn.

You see, after Sir LukieTee had passed away he was sent to a heavenly realm where he appeared in front of all of the gods. It was there where Zeus, the leader of the delegation, debriefed the young knight on what was going on. He told him that after a well-served life full of humble beginnings and constant sacrifices, the gods saw much potential in him, a potential to not just be a king’s number one man, to not just lead civilians of a kingdom, but the potential to be a god who watches over all of the different worlds such as Charn, Narnia, etc. Sir LukieTee was in utter shock but was full of honor as he accepted the position in hopes to continue giving glory back to his true God by doing things to the best of his ability in excellence. Now you know the story of how Sir LukieTee became a god, but here is the story of his first experience in having to handle a tough decision in partaking in the judgment of Queen Orual.

Sir LukieTee thought to himself…
“Well, let’s see. This is a woman who is selfish, a woman who is full of curiosity- although she is a little too curious and that is the reason she must be judged. Her actions were not honoring to her poor sister who already faced the consequences for her actions. It is clear that she has felt the wrath of guilt by how she has responded in isolation… but still, is that enough… is it just? It is hard to say. On one hand, this is a woman who lost the one great influence in her life, her Mother; a woman who has never truly received much love other than from her Teacher, Fox, and her sister, Psyche; It is almost, and unfortunately, fair to say that this woman was neglected and without a source of love… something that we believe is “the greatest commandment” (Matthew 22:36) from our true God. If this love is so immensely important and the child did not truly receive it, then how might I be able to judge her? I certainly did not receive this love as a child as I was born in a foreign land where I did not belong and I know how hard that can be. But to almost betray her own blood to selfishly hold onto what little love she was receiving… how can one say that is done without any punishment? I certainly am struggling with this. I think back to the times I messed up for my king, for my people… mercy was given to me and that type of love, an unconditional love, was the ultimate cure for my neglect. It is for that reason that I shall grant this woman mercy. May she remember this and never forget the love that will be given, I pray that with this mercy she will never feel any shame or neglect again but pass it on to those who like me, and her, will need love when no one else was there to truly give it.”

SirLukieTee looked for the first time upon a face that not many had ever laid eyes on. Orual gleamed back and instantly a connection shook the heart of the queen as tears filled her eyes. She listened as the faint words “Allow mercy upon the beloved daughter of the one true God’s daughter” came out of Sir LukieTee’s mouth. For the first time in a very long time, Orual felt loved.
