Gods and Men

I think it is funny how the world of the gods is never in harmony with the world of humans in the book. There are always complaints, lies, and underhanded dealings on each side. This is an interesting fact of how the world of ancient Greece worked. It is almost as if there is happenstance without any divine guidance. As if some average people without the moral high ground were just gods, but living with the same needs and desires as humans. They just have a lot of power. This does not justify Orual, however. She was still greedy and she did not love Psyche, only having Psyche’s love.
