My favorite book in the entire
Chronicles of Narnia is the Magicians Nephew. It is one of the most beautiful
creation accounts that I have ever heard. I can remember having my parents read
me the series as a child and being filled with wonder as this music began to
make the world take shape and saw that the music was coming from a lion. As a
child, I was able to enter into not just the character of a lion that can sing
a world into existence, but I was able to enter the whole realm from which that
comes as J.R.R. Tolkien writes about in his on Fairy Stories essay.
